I enjoy innovation, as it is the only way to live; I would rather die than feeling choked by the lack of creative breath!

This is ChaaNakya, also called Kautilya (a Sanskrit word that means = the sharp, astute and intelligent man), a brahmin genius, a king maker, a scholar and builder of a great empire in ancient India. He is a personality I admired during school days.

Many Dimensions of Poetry

Single Dimensional Poetry:

This poetic form has only one line, even though the line length may have no limitation. On a paper, the length is limited to the length or breadth of the paper; poetry written on a wall is limited to the longer dimension of the wall.

Two Dimensional Poetry:

The poem is written on any plane, which has two dimensions. This is the form of poetry that is popular now written on paper.

Three Dimensional Poetry:

Poem is written on all the dimensions of any three dimensional object; examples are: on the six sides of a cube; on walls, floor and roof of a room, on a sculpture in which the sculpture may compliment spirit / theme of the poem (s). As a special case, implementation of the three dimensions may be achieved my simulation of three dimensions on a two dimensional space. A simple implementation on the web would be to create a three dimensional object, a simple case being a cube, on the web page, with mouse controlled rotation to reveal all aspects of the three dimensions.

Four Dimensional Poetry:

Three-dimensional poem in motion, with time as the fourth dimension. As an option, the poem inscribed in the three dimensional space may change or get modified in motion, so that the time dimension truly reflects change in time. Effects of the change / transition of the poetic content in time dimension may also be used for the one-dimensional and two- dimensional poetry. Implemented on a web page, with special effects like Flash or other motion simulation software, the poem can change in times on all the spatial dimensions.

Commercial Implementation Ideas:

1 Poetry on a shirt, pant, saree, blouse or a shawl
2 Poetry on a kerchief.
3 Poetry on dolls, statues or figurines
4 Poetry on room or building walls

Alphanumeric Vocabulary

Notation:

Alphabets are pronounced as they are pronounced as individual alphabets. For example F is pronounced as Ef. The period is used to allow a very brief pause, more like a comma. If the alphabet is not a capital, it is pronounced they would otherwise pronounced as part of a word. For example, the p in M.pT makes the word Empty instead of Em-pi-ty.

GENRE INNOVATION

DESCRIPTIVE IMAGE STREAM

The poet / author gets a flash of images in his / her mind, which provides inspiration to write. In this genre, the images are written down descriptively in the true form of the images, as faithfully as possible, without any modification, editing, analysis or left-brain thinking. The reader gets the benefit of experiencing the author's experiences in its true form, original sequence and without any corruptions. Importance is given to imagery and its true description best to the ability of the author. This genre is applicable to prose, poetry, drama and all other literary forms.

As an alternative style and technique, the author may write this genre as a pure fiction, constructed entirely by his literary imagination, as opposed to depending on a poetic / literary experience.

DESCRIPTIVE IMAGE JUMBLE

Many times, the images flashing through may belong to many unconnected topics, as in a dream. Sometimes, our dreams may be about a story or theme continuously played in the normal sequence; at other times, our dreams may simply be a patch work or collage of images, in which the pieces of imagery may be brief, quickly and abruptly switching to images of a totally different context and topic. This genre attempts to capture such jumble of experiences of imagery.

As an alternative style and technique, the author may write this genre as a pure fiction, constructed entirely by his literary imagination, as opposed to depending on a poetic / literary experience.

DESCRIPTIVE IMAGE PATTERN

The word 'pattern' in the name of this genre here applies to a multidimensional display or presentation in a pattern form. The pattern is arranged in a descriptive, sequential and narrative configuration. The reader, who is really a viewer as well, just has to follow the presented pattern to understand and experience this literary genre. This pattern type of presentation may be true and faithful to the experience of the author, who is also an artist / architect / sculptor. The author needs to be an artist / architect / sculptor in this genre, as the soul of this genre is in its multidimensional nature; furthermore, the reader really becomes a viewer to be able to experience this genre of multiple dimensions. Alternatively, an author and an architect/ sculptor / artist can partner to produce this genre. We may also call this genre "art-literature" or "arterature" or "literart"!

ABSURD IMAGE JUMBLE

In this genre, the pattern of images are not 'reassembled' or 'rearranged'; instead, the images retain the unarranged form and undisturbed pristine multidimensional nature in which this genre takes birth. This is akin to modern art, and is its literary cousin with the added dimension of literature. In fact, this genre is blessed with the virgin qualities of both modern art and absurd literature; in a way, this genre liberates the viewer from being constrained by the form and format that the author-artist may have otherwise bounded this art-literature genre!

Word Innovation International

English language has grown more than many other languages in the recent centuries. The growth has been due to the progressive and assimilative posture adopted by the language experts and the common English speakers. English has taken a lot of words from other Indo-Germanic and European languages. Sometimes foreign languages words have crept into colloquialism, while some words have been purposefully adopted. The last two centuries have seen many technical words being created derived from Greek and Latin origin. Progress in science, engineering and medicine in the last two centuries has also made it a necessity to coin new words derived from other languages, with significant contribution from Greek and Latin. English dictionary has been revised and enhanced routinely signifying the sanctification of the newly created and adopted words. Words that were italicized, hyphenated or used under quotation marks become accepted English words, loosing their punctuations.

However, the growth in English vocabulary has been out of necessity and to accommodate utilitarian need. However, I am pioneering an unprecedented movement in English language by creating new words and word combinations, and also developing a worldwide team who constantly create new words; the team will interact through internet and world wide web; the team members meet locally, regionally and internationally, thus feeding on the creativity of others in the team. The creators of the words will also use their creation in their writing, while expressing creativity in their authorship by using new words created by others. The creator of the word write the grammatical role of the new word, indicate any further grammatical derivatives and write some example usage in sample sentences and / or a chosen genres for illustration purposes.

The new words could be based on words in English or other languages, even though words with no specific roots in other languages are also encouraged. After all, new words of the latter type make this team really unique. Furthermore, potentially anyone can propose a new word.

To facilitate new word creation and categorization, I am giving below some words that I recently created with category names:

Cat in needlepoint; Actual size=180 pixels wide

Here I might put a picture of something I made or of me enjoying my hobby.
